Eating Nagarvel leaves increases the secretion of digestive tract in the esophagus and stomach and helps in digestion if very heavy food is eaten.  The leaves of Nagarvel are digestive and flatulent, so as soon as the juice of the leaf goes into the mouth, the air settles down and there is belching of satiety and peace in the stomach

Mixing Nagarvel leaves, Bhangra and Tulsi juice and goat's milk and applying it all over the body and then taking a bath, if the body erupts mercury, it disappears.  Slightly heat the castor oil leaves of Nagarvel leaves and place it on the chest of small children and shake it to loosen the phlegm in the chest of the child.

 Sometimes a pregnant woman gets swollen breasts when she is breastfeeding and if she is in pain, then by tying a leaf of Nagarvel on it, the accumulated milk is released and the swelling subsides.  The roots of Nagarvel leaves are distributed in the market which is a spice, aphrodisiac and phlegm remover from the body.

 Eating two to three leaves of Nagarvel eliminates colds, whooping cough, and whooping cough.  Nagarvel leaves are clean, flavorful, warm, cures bad breath, feces, air and labor.  It is considered good to eat Nagarvel leaves after a meal.  If there is grease in the mouth after a meal, grain particles are filling the teeth or there are germs in the roots of the teeth, eating the leaf destroys it and the mouth becomes clean and fragrant.

Chewing nagarvel leaves can prevent oral cancer.  Absorbic acid and other oxidants present in its leaves destroy harmful carcinogens in the mouth.  Nagarvel leaves are thus used as a mouth freshener.

Nagarvel leaves contain many compounds that eliminate bad breath.  It is also a good mouth freshener as it contains various spices like cloves, anise, cardamom.  Applying katho in Nagarvel leaves and eating it two to three times a day gives relief in ulcers.
